Challenging Channels: Creativity and Competition
Customers challenging the status quo are creating new channels to access competitive power markets in traditionally regulated states. It has been two decades since customers have been able to choose an electricity supplier other than the local utility company. Over this period, fourteen U.S. jurisdictions (thirteen states and the District of Columbia) have implemented policies that allow for full retail electric competition. Five other states operate limited retail choice programs, which are capped as to the amount of load that can participate.
As new market conditions rapidly transform the energy landscape, Competitive Access Programs (CAPs) are emerging as an innovative solution aligned with customer needs, goals, and objectives.
Explore this white paper report to learn how this non-traditional choice allows C&I customers to access the benefits of electric choice.
