Vomela Companies unveils St. Paul's largest rooftop solar array

The Vomela Companies revealed Aug. 4 the largest solar array in St. Paul, Minn., which is located on the rooftop of their new 300,000 square foot headquarters.

The graphics and design provider will receive about a third of their total annual energy usage from the 1.3 MW rooftop solar project and expects it to offset nearly 2.4 million pounds of CO2 per year. The project consists of about 3,400 solar panels and was installed by Impact Power Solutions.

“Vomela, which started in St. Paul more than seventy years ago, is committed to the community,” Mark Auth, The Vomela Companies President & CEO, said in a statement. “This facility greatly improves our workflow and efficiency and provides more opportunities for our 300 local employees.”
