IQVIA Submits Emission Goals to SBTi
IQVIA submitted near- and long-term GHG gas emissions reduction goals for approval from the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).
These goals will help to reduce the carbon emissions of the company’s operations and emissions of its suppliers to ultimately become a net-zero organization.
In addition, IQVIA, a global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry. delivered a year-on-year decline on Scope 1 and 2 market-based emissions with a 22% decrease per full-time employee and 13% in absolute terms, despite an increase in headcount.
Details were provided in its 2022 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report.
