JAGGAER Reveals Progress on Environmental KPIs

JAGGAER, a company specializing in autonomous commerce, shared its progress on its environmental KPIs, which includes a 10% reduction in GHG emissions reduction.

Since 2021, JAGGAER has calculated its GHG emissions, and it is now reporting baseline figures to develop and implement near-term and long-term carbon reduction plans. The company submitted its Scope 1-3 emissions reduction targets and roadmap to the SBTi for validation later this year.

Its emissions reduction roadmap includes electrifying its fleet, procuring renewable electricity, increasing recycling rates in its facilities, as well as collaborating with vendors on carbon reduction.

JAGGAER is also prioritizing Scope 3 emissions by facilitating environmentally responsible practices across its supply chain, which consists of hosting and infrastructure providers.

The company collaborates with its owners, a firm called Cinven, to ensure that ESG principles are incorporated into its missions and values. In 2022, it submitted its activities for review by external agencies to measure progress using internationally recognized benchmarks.

Highlights are detailed in its ESG report, which also includes a series of case studies to illustrate how JAGGAER helps customers manage scarce resources and reduce GHG emissions.

Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive ESG Sponsor, Michelle Hamill, said in a statement, “The report has been prepared in reference to the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. Throughout 2022, we took steps to improve our performance as ESG exemplars. We started putting greenhouse gas emission reduction plans in place that are in line with the Paris Agreement 1.5-degree pathway. We enhanced ESG governance by introducing our Board of Directors ESG Committee and we have worked to make our commitments globally recognized, setting a precedent for transparency and continuous improvement in the context of ESG, having become a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact.”
