Liberty Global’s Emissions Down 28% 

Liberty Global Ltd., a converged broadband, video and mobile communications services provider, announced a 28% reduction in direct carbon emissions across Scopes 1 and 2 since 2019.

The company also announced that 92% renewable electricity was procured across its consolidated group, that it continued support as a co-founder of the European Green Digital Coalition, and that it launched the SustainEd webinar series to educate employees on sustainability topics.

Liberty also increased its CDP rating (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) to a B grade, demonstrating commitment to climate action, and joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC), aligning the company with universal sustainability principles.

The company released details in its annual People Planet Progress report for 2023, demonstrating its steadfast commitment to fostering inclusivity, sustainability and responsibility across its business.
