Marten Transport Deploys Solar at 17 Sites
Marten Transport, a transportation company serving the U.S. and Mexico, installed solar arrays at 17 project sites.
The company began the installation of solar energy to supplement their energy needs at terminals and maintenance facilities in 2018 by working with All Energy Solar. Over about seven years, rooftop solar arrays, parking lot solar canopies and battery storage systems have been completed as part of the projects.
Marten's solar arrays installed on top of the headquarters office and tractor and trailer mechanic shops in Mondovi, Wisconsin, produce over 175 kW of clean energy. Outside of Marten's home state of Wisconsin, All Energy Solar has also installed projects for the carrier in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Kansas, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and Oregon.
These projects save money on energy costs and demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility through enhanced operational efficiency.
"Choosing All Energy Solar was one of the smartest things we have done here at Marten Transport," said David Meyer, Senior Vice President at Marten Transport, in a statement. "We were so impressed with the team's transparency throughout the process that we decided to work with them across our whole network around the U.S."
