GM, P&G execs to kick-off SED webinar series
As part of its mission to serve the unique information needs of large commercial and industrial companies, Smart Energy Decisions on Oct. 4 announced the launch of its new, free webinar series.
Designed to bring relevant, useful information on timely topics of interest to the industry, the first two webinars in
at two Fortune 100 companies.In the first, "The Road to Achieving 100% Renewable Energy," General Motors Co. Global Manager of Renewable Energy Rob Threlkeld and Altenex LLC Managing Director Blaine Collison will discuss GM's journey sourcing renewable power and where they are headed; keys to success in sourcing renewable energy; and the format of Altenex's proven power purchase agreement template. That webinar, sponsored by Altenex, will be held Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
In November, "Using Renewable Energy to Achieve Your Sustainability Goals" will featuring Steve Skarda, global climate and energy leader at Procter & Gamble Co. With EDF Renewable Energy Inc.’s Jacob Susman, vice president and head of origination, Skarda will discuss how and why Procter & Gamble turned to an offsite wind project in support of their sustainability goals. That webinar, sponsored by EDF Renewable Energy, is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m.
