Whole Foods adds EV charging stations

Whole Foods Markets premiered EV charging stations at three of their Pennsylvania locations and will add them to new stores as they open. The stations were deployed by Blink Charging Co., which reported that the chargers will connect to the Blink Network, a cloud-based system that operates, manages, and tracks the charging stations. Whole Foods shoppers can use and locate the charging stations with Blink’s free app.

In a statement from Blink Charging, the company noted, "The charging stations are an important ingredient to Whole Foods’ continued commitment to sustainability and customer service."

"Whole Foods Market has always been on the frontlines of innovation in sustainability, and so we are eager to be working with them on their new locations," said Blink Charging’s CEO Mike Calise. “Whole Foods knows that providing Blink Charging Stations at their stores not only delivers a needed amenity for their EV customers, it also provides the infrastructure for the future of transportation which has already reached a tipping point.”
