Cabot Properties Offers Tenants Real-Time Energy Use Data

Cabot Properties will soon offer its tenants at more than 70 properties across North America access to energy performance data that will help with the decarbonization of their buildings.

The real estate investment company is partnering with Hatch Data to provide tenants with access to their real-time electricity and natural gas usage and custom monthly usage reports to track the impact of efficiency measures. Cabot’s investors and clients will have access to updates on their ESG commitments and actions and be able to see real-time utility meter data to inform a reduction in energy consumption.

The energy data will also automatically be sent to ENERGY STAR and GRESB to streamline Cabot’s ESG reporting.
