Levi Strauss Sets 2025 Goals
Levi Strauss & Co. set new sustainability goals, including achieving a 4% reduction in supply chain GHG emissions by 2025, a 90% reduction in GHG emissions and 100% renewable electricity in all company operated facilities by 2025.
The apparel manufacturer also set a goal of net zero emissions of GHG gasses by no later than 2050 and reduce freshwater use in manufacturing by 50% in areas of high water stress by 2025.
Details were provided in its newly published 2021 Sustainability report, demonstrating its commitment to a holistic definition of sustainability and progress across its key pillars of climate, consumption and community.
