Kemin Industries Commits to SBTi

Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer, confirmed its emission reduction goals by committing to the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi).

In 2021, the company announced plans to reach net zero GHG emissions by 2050. Kemin's commitment to SBTi provides a strategy to meet validated targets in line with the latest climate science goals.

"Our commitment to SBTi means we will use well-recognized methods backed by science to evaluate our emissions," said Kim Gibson, Associate Director of Global Sustainability, Kemin Industries, in a statement. "Setting our pace for progress in the near term is an important part of Kemin's sustainability journey."
