Brunswick Corporation Expands Sustainability Function
Brunswick Corporation, a marine conservation company, announced its commitment to building a sustainable future through new investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency technology as well as the launch of new electric products.
The company has made key accomplishments, achieving a 13% reduction in combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions intensity, establishing a sustainability strategic framework that features a 30% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by year-end 2025, and expanding the sustainability function through the creation of an Enterprise Sustainability Office, led by a Chief Sustainability Officer and a Director of Sustainable Engineering.
Highlights and accomplishments were detailed in its 2022 Sustainability Report.
