Cariloop Receives Climate Neutral Certification
Cariloop, a comprehensive caregiver support platform that combines cloud-based tools and personalized coaching services, announced it is officially Climate Neutral Certified.
The company met the independent certification standard from Climate Neutral, a nonprofit organization working with brands and consumers to eliminate GHG emissions.
Climate Neutral’s certification builds on internationally recognized standards for carbon measurement and neutrality. All certified brands must measure cradle-to-customer GHG emissions each year to maintain certification. A brand must also commit to reduction action plans to cut future emissions within a 12-24 month timeline, reporting progress on those plans annually.
Certified brands must invest in eligible-verified carbon credits to compensate for all of their emissions, directing investment into critical projects that remove and avoid emissions.
“As a Public Benefit Corporation, we are committed to a triple-bottom line of people, planet and profits, and we strive to assess our environmental efforts to identify ways to lower our footprint and offset our emissions,” said Elizabeth Keeler, Impact Manager of Cariloop, in a statement. “We are honored to join the growing movement of companies achieving Climate Neutral Certification, and we look forward to implementing our reduction plans to continue to showcase our commitment to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions in the years to come.”
