Net Zero Forum Spring Features the Lone Star State
Smart Energy Decisions’ Net Zero Forum Spring will highlight its location in Texas by providing content specific to the area, offering insights and connections that can be applied throughout the country. The Forum is set for February 26-28 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, The Woodlands, Texas.
“We are happy to welcome our community of buyers and energy solution providers back to the Houston area, the site of several prior SED events,” said Debra Chanil, Editorial and Research Director. While our agenda of general and spotlight sessions, as well as our “Ask the Experts” series will offer actionable information for all operators, we are excited to offer several opportunities for our attendees to learn from programs featuring our host state.
Net Zero Forum Spring’s comprehensive program includes:
- A keynote by Brian Megali (Constellation) and Katie Soroye (LevelTen Energy) examining the fast-changing hourly carbon-free matching market
- “Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Financing of Energy & Water Improvements,” by James Cargas (Texas PACE Authority) and Seth Eslami (Stellar International Commercial Real Estate)
- “Ask the Expert” sessions featuring Carlos Gamarra (Houston Advanced Research Center), Gautami Palanki (Howard Hughes Corp), Shannon McGriff (The Energy Professionals Association), and more
- Sessions exploring decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency, water challenges, and more presented by Trane, Eastman Chemical Company, The Water Council and others
- SED’s third annual WISE (Women in Smart Energy) Awards presentation and panel discussion
- Lively networking receptions to connect with peers and top energy solutions providers
