Cushman & Wakefield’s Emissions Fall 15%
Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, announced a 15% reduction in total Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from 2022.
The company also announced a 43% reduction in total Scope 1 and 2 (market-based) emissions from 2019 and that it has sourced 58% of the firm’s operations electricity from renewable sources.
Additionally, Cushman & Wakefield announced an 11% decrease in energy consumption year-over-year in 2023, driven by a 31% decrease in the use of natural gas and fuel oil reported. The company’s 2023 sustainability achievements also include providing energy and sustainability services for more than 60,120 buildings totaling approximately 1.13 billion square feet.
Details were released in its 2023 Sustainability Report, which demonstrates the firm’s global impact and performance across key sustainability areas during 2023 and progress on future targets.
