La-Z-Boy Receives SBTi Approval, Increases RE
La-Z-Boy Incorporated, a global manufacturer and retailer of residential furniture, announced that for the fiscal year 2024, the company received SBTi validation of its near-term targets.
The company’s targets include a 64% reduction in Scope 1 emissions, a 62% reduction in Scope 2 emissions and a 51% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by fiscal year 2032.
La-Z-Boy announced that its renewable energy portfolio covered 75% of the U.S. and 64% of global electricity consumption.
Details were released in its fiscal year 2024 Impact Report, "Preserving Our Heritage, Transforming for Tomorrow." Through this report, La-Z-Boy Incorporated details how sustainability is infused into its corporate strategy and operations as a core business principle, bolstered by its intentional supply chain management practices.
