DOE Better Buildings Summit registration open to public
Registration is now open to the public for the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2016 Better Buildings Summit, scheduled for May 9 through May 11 in Washington, D.C. The Summit will feature commercial breakout meetings; multiple sector-specific panel sessions; and expert presentations on best practices in key energy using systems. The Summit is an event where 900 attendees are expected and encouraged to participate in forward-looking discussions and engage on a range of diverse cross-cutting topics. Sessions cover emerging technology innovation, creative organizational strategies, practical financing, strategic partnerships, data-driven decision-making, as well as future opportunities for scaling energy efficiency across your portfolio of buildings.
Special Commercial Sector Events:
- Pre-conference showcase project building tours on Monday morning
- Half-day financing workshop being held in partnership with the Retail Leaders Industry Association, Energy to Finance: Understanding the CFO & Translating Metrics
- Partner Pavilion is new this year, and will be the place where attendees can engage informally with technology experts, network with peers, sit down for an interview for the Beat Blog, or be selected to make an energy efficiency pitch inside of an elevator (and get filmed doing it).
