Sabey Data Centers Constructs Data Center

Sabey Data Centers, a colocation data center provider, began construction on a new, 40-acre data center campus in Round Rock, Texas.

The new campus will provide up to 72 MW capacity, supported by Sabey’s commitments to reliability, security, connectivity, and sustainability. In addition, Sabey’s Austin Data Center Campus will feature its latest innovations that maximize available data center space while shrinking its construction footprint with a target Ready for Service Date of Q2 2023.

The facility design will accommodate requirements of all sizes, including hyperscale deployments, according to a statement from the company.  When complete, the campus will offer 430,000 square feet of reliable colocation supported by high-density cooling, low cost of power, eight layers of security, carrier-neutral options and more.

"We anticipate that Austin will incorporate our standard high efficiency design concepts – including hot aisle containment, variable speed fans controlled on differential pressure, and high efficiency chillers. The Austin Facility will be designed to be liquid cooling ready as well,  said John Sasser, CTO of Sabey Data Center.

"We have plans to incorporate lighting in the parking lot that will be solar powered and EV Ready Stalls will be available," said Kara Anderson, Director of Architecture of Sabey Data Center.

Sabey’s data center portfolio includes data center campuses in Austin, Ashburn, New York City, Seattle, and central Washington.
