Arizona to Increase EV Charging Seven-Fold

Arizona is adding 13,980 chargers for electric vehicles, increasing its total number of EV chargers seven times.

Invisible Urban Charging (“IUC”) announced that it is partnering with EV Charging of Arizona to roll out the chargers for EVs. Arizona has over 40,000 registered electric vehicles, according to a June 2022 report from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Installation will commence in the first quarter of 2023. EV Charging of Arizona is managed by developer S3 Biotech, which is developing several sites in Arizona with a focus on creating “Smart City” facilities, including a new state-of-the-art medical campus in Maricopa. 

Jones Lang Lasalle, a property development and management company, serves as installation partner, along with a nationwide installation capability through its network of electrical contractors, logistics, and signage partners.
