Applied Industrial Technologies Provides Emissions Output
Applied Industrial Technologies provided additional details about the company’s energy consumption and GHG emissions in its Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report for 2023, and the new data will serve as a baseline for future reporting periods.
The distributor and technical solutions provider of industrial motion, fluid power, flow control, automation technologies, and related maintenance supplies also expanded information on its sustainability solutions and initiatives.
The company will reduce its carbon footprint through efforts to install more energy-efficient lighting and other building systems that reduce electrical consumption, while also promoting the use of more fuel-efficient vehicles for its sales force.
The report utilizes Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and aligns with the ESG disclosure and reporting frameworks established by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
