EnerSys Lowers Emissions by 4%

EnerSys, a stored energy solutions for industrial applications company, announced its Scope 1 emissions are down 4.2% since 2022 and declined by 25% since 2019.

The company also reported a 15% reduction in energy intensity since 2020, publication of 2023 Scope 3 data and inclusion of an appendix aligned with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

Details were published in its 2023 Sustainability Report, showcasing progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Enersys's 2023 Sustainability Report showcases the company’s advancement towards the objectives set in its 2021 Sustainability Report, including commitments to lowering GHG emissions, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing water usage. EnerSys is also working to help its customers achieve sustainable CO2 reductions while saving money in energy and water costs by choosing efficient, fully electric product offerings.
