Valmont Industries Lowers Carbon Intensity
Valmont® Industries, Inc., a global company that provides vital infrastructure and advances in agricultural productivity, reported considerable progress in improving its environmental performance, including a reduction in carbon intensity from 78.13 CO2 MT/$M to 43.96 MT/$M.
Other highlights of the company's 2024 Sustainability Report include a recommitment to 2025 environmental goals against a 2018 baseline, the achievement of a 46% reduction in normalized electricity usage, and a reduction in carbon intensity of combustion fuels from 7.8 CO2 MT/$M revenue to 4.4 CO2 MT/$M.
