Kyndryl’s Goals Receive SBTi Validation
IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl announced its goals were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The company also achieved progress against its 2040 net-zero target by reducing Scope 1 emissions by 9% and Scope 2 market-based emissions by 8%, compared to a fiscal 2023 baseline.
As announced in its fiscal year 2024 Corporate Citizenship Report, Kyndryl achieved its global ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications for its Environmental and Energy Management System.
"Kyndryl set ambitious goals for building our sustainability practice, supporting our people and communities, and upholding ethical governance. We worked diligently, and the meaningful progress we made is a great source of pride for Kyndryl employees globally," said Martin Schroeter, Chairman and CEO, in a statement.
