Link Logistics on Track to Reach Goals
Link Logistics, an operator of last-mile logistics real estate, announced the company is on track to achieve carbon neutral operations by 2025, with more than 12,000 metric tons of carbon reduced through energy efficiency projects.
The company also achieved LEED certification for 2.8 million square feet of space across 10 projects, installed and commissioned 36 megawatts of new solar capacity in 2023 with a total operating solar portfolio of 82 megawatts and converted 36 million square feet of Link Logistics space to LED or high-efficiency lighting.
Link Logistics launched Energy Solutions, Link Logistics’ comprehensive energy and utility management program, which has reduced enrolled customers’ utility expenses by an average of 12% to date, and hosted the inaugural Link Logistics Energy & Sustainability Summit with customers and partners to discuss sustainability best practices and identify market opportunities.
The company benchmarked 227 million square feet of Link Logistics space through EPA ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and was named a 2023 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for the second consecutive year.
