Mobileye Receives LEED Rating

Tech company Mobileye announced its new headquarters in Jerusalem received a LEED Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

In 2023, Mobileye took steps to measure its GHG emissions and focused on Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions, encompassing both direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by the company and indirect emissions from purchased electricity consumption. By assessing its emission sources, including energy usage, fuel consumption, and fleet operations, the company gained a preliminary understanding of its carbon footprint.

The campus excelled in water efficiency, innovation and regional priorities, underscoring Mobileye’s dedication to ambitious sustainability goals and efficient operations.

Details were published in its inaugural Sustainability Report for 2023, a comprehensive overview of its efforts and commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Mobileye provides autonomous driving and driver-assistance technologies based on expertise in artificial intelligence, computer vision, mapping, and integrated hardware and software.

”I’m pleased to share our inaugural Sustainability Report,” said Kobi Ohayon, Chief Operating Officer of Mobileye, in a statement. “2023 served as a pivotal period in which Mobileye defined key areas of focus and established initial processes and baseline measures to assess future progress. We eagerly anticipate progressing along the path we’ve established as an independent company for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
