Smart Energy Decisions announces advisory board formation
Smart Energy Decisions on June 10 announced the formation of an eight-member advisory board that will help define the focus of its content and programs.
The advisory board members, which comprise energy and sustainability executives from a wide array of commercial and industrial companies, will help Smart Energy Decisions to identify, define and advance industry best practices in energy efficiency and renewable energy sourcing. Participation on the advisory board does not reflect an endorsement of Smart Energy Decisions by a member's employer.
"The experience and insights offered by the advisory board will be invaluable in helping to ensure we remain true to our mission," Smart Energy Decisions founder and editorial director John Failla said. "The breath of responsibilities and industry sectors represented on the board reflect both the audience and companies we serve. We look forward to working with the board as we evolve our content and product offerings in the interest of helping our readers make smart energy decisions."
The eight board members are:
- Ali Ahmed, Cisco, senior manager, Global Energy Management and Sustainability
- Chris Broome, Merck, associate director, Global Energy and Sustainability Center of Excellence
- Mike Colwell, Illinois Tool Works, strategic sourcing manager
- Bill Hoenigmann, Becton, Dickinson and Co., global category manager for energy
- Allison Porter, Cushman & Wakefield, LEED AP, vice president, sustainability services
