The report highlights results from the annual verification process audit for Green-e participants, comprising 294 power, utility and energy services companies including AEP Energy, Apple, ConEdison Solutions, Georgia Power, NextEra Energy Resources, NRG Business Solutions and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
For nearly 20 years, CRS has developed and implemented consumer protection standards for the voluntary renewable energy and carbon offset markets through its Green‑e programs. The standards mandate a rigorous accountability for retail products sold to consumers, bringing a level of transparency that can bolster consumer confidence in the industry.
