Rituals Sets 2030 Goals
Rituals, a cosmetics and skin care company, is committing to reducing its GHG emissions per product by 50% by 2030 compared to 2021, with the goal of achieving net-zero by 2050.
The company became a Certified B Corporation TM earlier in 2022.
Rituals will achieve its goals by having its stores run on green electricity and have energy-saving appliances (like LED lights, reducing the number of truck deliveries and working with logistics suppliers to ensure low-impact shipments, according to a statement.
For carbon emissions related to store operations, the company will offset these by supporting certified carbon projects and will develop and implement a carbon removal plan to further soak up emissions from the atmosphere.
