Atkore Updates Emission Progress
Atkore, a provider of electrical, safety and infrastructure solutions, announced it made solid improvements and progress towards achieving each of the four external targets set last year.
The company reported it reduced Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG intensity by 10% by 2025 vs. 2020 baseline - 54.1 metric tons were reduced in 2022. The goal is to reduce emissions by 52.4 metric tons by 2025.
In addition to addressing sustainability in its operations, the company continues to support its customers in reaching their own sustainability goals and the global transition to a lower-carbon economy.
The company also conducted scenario analysis to identify climate-related physical and transition risks and opportunities. Details were provided in its 2022 Sustainability Report.

The company received an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year from the EPA and U.S. Department of Energy for its efforts tin contributing to reductions in Atkore’s GHG emissions. Atkore’s broad electrical and solar product portfolio offers a variety of solutions to support renewable energy and electrification.
