Albertsons Companies announced the purchase of 10 all-electric tractors to service their Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilion stores in Southern California. The vehicles, which will travel 300 to upwards of 500 miles on a single charge, are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to decrease carbon emissions

Mercury Marine heads for 45% energy reduction goal
Mercury Marine, the Fond du Lac, Wisc.-based marine propulsion and technology company, announced it is making progress towards a 2019 goal to reduce annual energy consumption by 45% from a 2005 baseline. In the past year, the company reduced energy consumption by 5%, for a cumulative decline of 38% since 2005.
