Walmart Inc. has executed 46 PPAs to provide solar power at its operations in five states. These solar installations will produce more than 65,000,000 kWh of renewable energy annually and are expected to supply approximately 10-60 percent of each stores' overall electricity use.

Hormel Foods Corporation announced the start of construction on a solar energy project on its Swiss American Sausage Company facility in Lathrop, Calif.
